Ma Čka
Ma Čka is a French DJ and producer known for her raw and uncompromising approach to industrial techno. Since 2017, she has developed her own sound that combines distorted textures, metallic atmospheres, and heavy percussion, drawing influences from everyday sounds. From 2018 to 2023, she co-founded and ran Mekanikal Bloodshed, an influential label within the industrial techno niche, recognized for shaping and inspiring many producers and DJs. Her DJ sets are dark, aggressive, and emotionally charged, guiding listeners from introspection to total release. Performing mostly in Europe and North America, she consistently delivers immersive experiences, creating space for her audience to fully engage, lose themselves, and become an integral part of the moment. Experimentation is at the core of her process, and she carefully sculpts each sound by hand from synthesizers and field recordings to heavy kicks, haunting violins, and electric guitar elements. Drawing influence from industrial music, stoner rock, and metal, Ma Čka has managed to innovate and push modern techno forward with authenticity and sincerity, while building a genuine, evolving community around her art. She recently cemented her presence in the underground scene by performing at Manu Le Malin’s first residency, Lycanthropie, at Mia Mao.
